YPFB us Refining recorded $ 265 million of profits and production increases (Official)

     Santa Cruz, June 27 (ABI) -. Manager Bolivian Fiscal Oilfields (YPFB) Refining, Guillermo Acha, reported Friday that factory state won $ 265 million in profits and increased production at refineries and Guillermo Elder Bell Gualberto Villarroel, since 2007 when both complexes were nationalized.

     "The profits made by this company have been a result of the growth of the processing capacity of the two refineries in our country, achieving record figures set mainly in the last management (2013), when they have obtained $ 67 million and making in seven years, from June 2007, a total of 265 million earned in profits, "said Acha, said in a press release.

     He recalled that before nationalize the two refineries, between the two, only generated $ 8 million profit.

     The information was released by Acha, referring to the June 28 met seven years from the registration of the Bolivian state as majority shareholder of Gualberto Villarroel and Guillermo Elder Bell refinery.

     According to YPFB Refining Manager, since 2007 the processing power of both refineries increased from 39,500 to 51,200 barrels per day (BPD), representing a growth of approximately 30%.

     He stressed that this increase allows providing energy security and sovereignty of the Bolivian State.

     "All this growth likewise enabled a direct benefit to all Bolivian people by saving in subsidy by reducing import volumes, through to ensure the supply of fuels with higher domestic production volumes from our refineries, "was based.

     By paying taxes, he said YPFB Refining is currently the second company with the greatest contribution to the tax revenues of the country, to pay 2.368 million dollars since 2007.

     YPFB Refining seeks to meet an ambitious goal of investment amounting to 600 million dollars, of which, in the past seven years were carried over, amount multiplied by 16 so I invested in a same previous period, the privatization half.
