G77 launches crusade against poverty in Santa Cruz Declaration

    Santa Cruz, June 15 (ABI) -. Declaration of Santa Cruz, initialed on Sunday by the G77 + China in the Bolivian city of Santa Cruz, launched a crusade as the basis of sustainable development agenda post 2015 with the primary objective of prevent, as now, 1,200 million people suffer from hunger.

    The Declaration of Santa Cruz, 242 points, states that excessive profit orientation does not respect Mother Earth and is concerned about the influence of big business in the global economy, with negative effects on development.
