ECLAC's analysis confirms good time of the Bolivian economy: Red

     La Paz, June 17 (ABI) -. Deputy Minister of Treasury and Public Credit, Edwin Rojas said Tuesday that the recently released analysis that the executive secretary of the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC), Alicia Barcena, on the national economy, confirms the good performance of the GDP (Gross domestic Product), the Net International Reserves and public investment in Bolivia.

     "Affirms the momentum that our economy is going and the forecasts that is on credit, the increase in all they are our international reserves," he told reporters.

     The Executive Secretary of ECLAC spent last weekend in the Bolivian city of Santa Cruz de la Sierra, where he attended the summit of the G77 + China, a multilateral bloc that brings together two thirds of the United Nations.

     Barcena said "there's a lot of confidence" in the development of Bolivia, since it has good results in growth, foreign investment, poverty reduction and social inequality.

     In this regard, the Deputy Minister of Treasury and Public Credit ratified expected growth of 5.7% of GDP this year, driven mainly by domestic demand.

     He recalled that the first quarter of this year GDP grew 6.4% was due to the good performance of the construction, manufacturing, trade and mining, among other sectors.

     "That's one of the achievements by poverty redistributive policies," he said.
