CAF: Bolivia has good defenses to cope with financial crisis

   Colcapirhua, BOLIVIA, Aug 29 (ABI) .- President Development Bank of Latin America - CAF, Enrique García, said Friday that Bolivia has "good defenses" to face any economic crisis occurring in the continent.

     "A crisis that comes on the continent, Bolivia has good defenses," he said in the context of the Bolivian Conference VI Economic Development.

     The representative of the international organization said that the Bolivian macroeconomics is "great," as evidenced by the existence of more than 15,000 million dollars of net international reserves.

     He stressed the low inflation that the country, the "prudent" fiscal management and the absence of external debt problems.

     "I mean, it has defenses to defend another country which does not. Overall Latin America is well," he said.
