Entel contributed to State B 5.115 million in six years of nationalization

  La Paz, July 29 (ABI) -. Between May 2008 and June 2014, six years of nationalization, Empresa Nacional de Telecomunicaciones (Entel) provided the State 5,115,000 bolivianos.

     According to a press release from the nationalized Entel has become one of the strategic state enterprises for national development, whose payments to the Treasury strengthen and sustain high-impact social programs such as the Dignity Pension Bono and Johnny Pinto.

     Entel's contributions are for items such as Transportation and Telecommunications Authority (ATT), the National Telecommunications Social Inclusion (PRONTIS) Gaming Authority (AJ) and investment projects.

     The indicated amount (5.115 million bolivianos) represents 78.4% of the assets of Entel, amounting to 6526.7 million Bolivians.

     The milestone represents an important contribution to the national economy because now the resources generated by Entel Bolivia nationalized stay in and for the benefit of Bolivians.
